I sincerely congratulate you on the 79th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945!

1941-1945 is the most ruthless and at the same time the most sorrowful period in world history, when an aggressive and predatory war claimed the lives of millions of people and led to irreparable losses, leaving unhealed wounds. From the very beginning of that merciless war, which lasted for 1418 days, our compatriots voluntarily went to the front, where side by side with fraternal peoples they fought on the fields of fierce battle, showing unparalleled bravery and courage. For this they received many orders and medals. The names of our soldiers who laid down their lives in the bloody war, and those who returned home with Victory, are included in the multi-volume publications “Hatyra” and “Şöhrat”.

Our compatriots worked tirelessly day and night, and in those hard years they reaped large harvests of grain and cotton. They were driven by unshakable faith and hope in Victory. The war scorched and mutilated hearts, but our women and girls, following their primordial principles, without the slightest hesitation donated 7392 kilograms of gold and silver jewelry to the Defense Fund. At the same time, they wove a huge carpet “The Soul of the Turkmens”, which became a manifestation of the desire of the Turkmen people to live in peace and prosperity. Memories of the military valor of our brave ancestors and the labor achievements of our compatriots are forever inscribed in golden letters in the annals of the Fatherland.

We are immensely proud of our heroes, brave ancestors who fought for peace on Earth, a serene sky and a happy life for their descendants, as well as compatriots, whose selfless labor brought the Great Victory closer. Eternal glory to them!

In the era of the Renaissance of a new era of a powerful state, we highly honor the representatives of the older generation, whose valor and amazing school of life serve as an example to everyone. They, selflessly showing military and labor heroism in the name of freedom of mankind, brought the glorious Victory closer.In the year “The Fount of the Mind of Magtymguly Fragi”, marked by a series of events, both here and abroad, we also perpetuate the blessed memory of heroes by laying bouquets of fresh flowers in the capital’s memorial complex “Halk hakydasy” and in other memorials of military glory and people’s memory . At the same time, on the occasion of the Victory Day, thematic musical, song and cultural events are held throughout the country, and war veterans are solemnly presented with holiday gifts.Thus, we show boundless gratitude and respect to our heroes who gave their lives in the name of freedom on the fields of the war of 1941-1945, as well as to compatriots who with dignity overcame severe hardships and became an example of selfless service to the Motherland, people and humanity.

Our policy of maintaining peace, general security and stability has earned independent, neutral Turkmenistan high authority in the international arena. Advocating for the expansion of ties of friendship and brotherhood between states and the comprehensive promotion of sustainable development, we actively participate in the development of optimal solutions to global problems.At the 63rd plenary meeting of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Resolution “2025 – International Year of Peace and Trust” initiated by Turkmenistan was unanimously adopted. This became a gratifying event, a triumph on the planet of our age-old principles of peace, friendship and trust, and increased the authority of the Turkmen state in the world as a peacekeeping center.
