Since the beginning of the year, the Khalach cotton yarn factory in the Lebap region of Turkmenistan has exported more than 1,000 tons of finished products to six countries, including Armenia, Poland, Iran, Uzbekistan, Turkey and Russia. This is half of the total output of the enterprise, the volume of which has already exceeded 2,300 tons. The factory produces 14-16 tons of high-quality yarn daily thanks to the smooth operation of modern equipment from leading European manufacturers, according to a report in the Turkmenistan newspaper.
The successes of the textile industry are just part of the positive news from various regions of the country. In the Ahal velayat, preparations are underway for the autumn shearing of sheep, and livestock breeders have already exceeded the plan for offspring by 101.5%,
At the Guvlyduz salt plant in the Balkan velayat, about 57,364 tons of salt were mined in seven months, which is 1,600 tons more than the planned figures.
In the Dashoguz velayat, the private enterprise Amantai is increasing the production of high-quality wicker furniture, which is in high demand. And in the Mary velayat, intensive preparation of wheat seeds for autumn sowing is underway using modern equipment.
