A delegation of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan made a business trip to Tashkent, the Republic of Uzbekistan, in order to learn about the experience of creating a customs clearance center and get acquainted with the work of border customs points. This was reported by the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan.
During the visit on July 30-31, the delegation of Turkmenistan visited the Center of customs clearance under the Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Set to open in August 2023, the facility will include a data processing centre, remote e-declaration point, call centre, targeting and risk management units. The information system of the center is coordinated with the information systems of foreign agencies, local ministries and departmental administrations, foreign economic partners and airlines.
At the remote electronic declaration point, cargo customs declarations submitted from a distance, as well as requests and applications received through the "11-08" hotline of the call center of the customs committee and through the website are considered. Targeting and risk management departments analyze data from 50 customs data systems, the digital data system of the World Customs Organization, as well as more than 30 foreign agencies, analyze risks, and remotely monitor the operations of all customs authorities of the country.
During the visit, members of the delegation visited "Arkbulok" and "Chukursai Teh Kontora" points of foreign economic activity, as well as "Yallama" border customs point.
