A Turkmen-Mongolian business forum was held in Ulaanbaatar as part of Turkmenistan’s President Serdar Berdimuhamedov’s official visit to Mongolia, as reported by the press service of the President of Mongolia on Monday.
The event, hosted at the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Mongolia, brought together representatives of the business communities from both countries.
Participants discussed the current state of the economies of Turkmenistan and Mongolia, the business climate, and investment opportunities. Special attention was given to cooperation in the food industry, agriculture, and the textile and knitwear sectors — areas both sides noted have strong potential for boosting bilateral trade and launching joint projects.

The Turkmen side organized an exhibition and sale of traditional carpets and handicrafts. In turn, Mongolian companies showcased samples of textile products and exchanged experience with their Turkmen counterparts in technology, design, and raw material selection.
The forum also included bilateral B2B meetings, where private sector representatives explored concrete steps toward expanding trade and economic ties, including the launch of joint initiatives and investment programs.
Organizers emphasized that the forum served as an important platform for establishing direct business contacts and fostering long-term partnerships.
During the Turkmen president’s visit to Mongolia, 14 bilateral agreements were signed.
