On June 1, 2025, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation held a mass bike ride along the embankments of the Moscow River along the Kremlin wall.

In the bike ride, together with the staff of the Embassy, representatives of student youth, both citizens of Turkmenistan and citizens of the CIS, studying in the capital's higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation, took an active part.

The event is dedicated to World Bicycle Day, established at the initiative of Turkmenistan in April 2018 at the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly.

A similar event was also held in Kyiv on the territory of Trukhanov Island with the support of the State Enterprise ‘General Directorate for Servicing Foreign Missions’. The purpose of this event is to draw public attention to the importance of maintaining physical health and an active lifestyle.

In addition, the Consulate General of Turkmenistan in the United Arab Emirates organized a bike ride in the city of Dubai.

The mass rides were attended by employees of the country's diplomatic missions and members of their families, representatives of the Turkmen diaspora and student youth.
