Today, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Akhmed Gurbanov took part in the ministerial session of the third summit "Voice of the Global South", organized by the Government of the Republic of India in an online format.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, more than 100 countries of the world took part in the summit. The participants were united by the common theme "Expanding the Opportunities of the Global South for a Sustainable Future". The goal of the summit is to develop specific proposals for deepening mutually beneficial regional cooperation and solving urgent problems of developing countries.
In his speech, A. Gurbanov confirmed the position of Turkmenistan, which advocates constructive cooperation on the principles of neutrality and peaceful coexistence. He noted that the country aims to further expand partnership in the field of transport and energy.
