On May 30, 2025, a conference dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust, as well as the 30th anniversary of the permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan, was held in the national pavilion of Turkmenistan at the World Exhibition “EXPO-2025”.

The conference was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan, teachers and students of higher educational institutions of the country (via video link), as well as representatives of the Organizing Committee of the World “EXPO-2025” and public organizations of Japan.

In their speeches, the participants emphasized the importance of peace, trust and global cooperation, as well as the role of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality in expanding international relations.

Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Japan A.Bayramov noted Turkmenistan’s efforts to promote a peaceful path, sustainable development and global cooperation based on a policy of permanent neutrality in the international arena.

Representatives of the Japanese side noted that the events held within the framework of the World Exhibition “EXPO-2025” in honor of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality are an important platform for the broad promotion of Turkmenistan's policy aimed at strengthening peace and trust.
