On May 30, 2025, an event was organized at the Almaty Technological University (ATU) with the participation of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in honor of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality and the declaration of 2025 as the “International Year of Peace and Trust” by the UN General Assembly.

At the official part of the event, the leadership of the Almaty Technological University, honorary guests and Turkmen students made congratulatory speeches.

In his speech, the representative of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Kazakhstan emphasized that since the beginning of 2025, numerous events have been held in Turkmenistan dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust.

The participants of the event also viewed a specially prepared video demonstrating the achievements of Turkmenistan in recent years in the context of the 30th anniversary of the country’s neutrality.

During the celebration, Turkmen and Kazakh students presented folk performances: the national dance “Kushdepdi” and the song “Bilezik”, and also played folk melodies on national instruments.

Representatives of the Embassy of Turkmenistan also held a meeting with the university leadership, where they discussed current issues related to students.
