On March 5, 2025 a festive concert dedicated to the creative work of Magtymguly Pyragy took place in Astrakhan at the Caspian Institute of Maritime and River Transport named after Admiral General F.M. Apraksin.

The event was titled “The Worldview of Woman’s soul in the Poetic Heritage of the Great Magtymguly” and was timed to coincide with International Women’s Day.

The students of the institute performed poems and musical pieces inspired by the work of Magtymguly Pyragy. As part of the event, a solemn award ceremony was also held.

Certificates of appreciation from the Consulate of Turkmenistan and the Governor of the Astrakhan Region was presented to university staff, as well as to the heads of state and public organizations, for their significant contribution to the organization of events dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the poet’s birth.
