The documentary film “Makhtumkuli in the Memory of the World”, produced by the “Turkmenfilm” association named after Oguzkhan, will be broadcast during May on TV channels of the Kyrgyz Republic: “TV-15”, “Region”, “7-Channel”, MANAS TV, “UTRK” and Madaniýat TV. The film was translated into Kyrgyz for showing on national television.According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the film Magtymguly dünýäniň hakydasynda (“Magtymguly in the memory of the world”) was produced by Turkmenfilm as part of the celebration of the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi in Kyrgyzstan with the assistance of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Bishkek.

The film about the life and work of the classic of Turkmen literature contains the most valuable information, historical facts and interviews with the Kyrgyz scientific intelligentsia.

Let us recall that on the occasion of the celebration of the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi, “Turkmenfilm” filmed a number of documentaries in different countries: Uzbekistan, Russia (Astrakhan region), Azerbaijan, Turkey, Iran.
