President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov will be among the guests of honor at the military parade that will be held in Moscow on May 9 to commemorate the 79th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945.
Honorary guests at the parade will also be President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Cuba Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith and President of the Republic of Guinea- Bissau Umaru Sissoku Embalo. The Kremlin press service reports this.
Together with Vladimir Putin, the leaders will also take part in a flower-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Alexander Garden. Then a reception will be held in the Kremlin on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation for the heads of delegations present at the parade.
