On August 21, 2024, as part of the 18th international music festival "We are gathering friends", a concert entitled "The language of magnificent words of Turkmen" will be held in the Rachmaninoff Hall of the Moscow State Conservatory named after P. I. Tchaikovsky. This was reported by HHM.
As noted in the news, the program will include vocal and instrumental compositions based on the poet's poems, as well as works dedicated to the poet. The event is organized by the composer Mammet Guseyinov and is supported by the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory and the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation.
Famous Turkmen and Russian musicians will take part in the concert. Classical vocal compositions based on the poems of Magtymguly and other Turkmen poets will be performed here. The guests will listen to pieces from the opera "Magtymguly" by the composer Yuliy Meytus, pieces from the music set based on the poems of Magtymguly by Veli Muhadov, Chary Nurymov, Jeren Kurbanklycheva and Nury Halmammedov.
A book exhibition showing the rich heritage of the poet will be held in the balcony of the concert hall.
