Turkmenistan has developed software called "Işgärler" for comprehensive accounting and management of information about employees in the country’s government institutions. The application was introduced at the “Innovative Development of the Digital Economy” conference held at the International Science and Technology Park of the Turkmen Academy of Sciences, the newspaper Neutral Turkmenistan reported on Friday.
The presentation was led by Isa Babaev, chief specialist in the Digital Technologies and Information Security Department at Turkmenistan’s Ministry of Justice.
Designed for all HR departments, the program manages data on job positions, leave, awards, qualifications, education, and other personnel-related aspects. Its primary goal is to improve the efficiency of HR services, enhance personnel record-keeping, and ensure secure data storage.
The conference focused on implementing the national digital development strategy. Discussions covered the adoption of modern information and communication technologies, cybersecurity, electronic document management, alternative energy sources, and emerging technologies such as Li-Fi, blockchain, and spatial computing.
