Avaza to Host LLDC3 Private Sector Forum

The Private Sector Forum, planned as part of the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, will serve as a platform to promote Turkmen small and medium-sized enterprises and integrate them into global supply chains, official Turkmen media reported on Friday.

The organizers prioritize the role of entrepreneurship in overcoming the geographical barriers faced by these countries.

During the conference, held in the Avaza National Tourist Zone, thematic sessions will focus on entrepreneurship development, investment attraction, expansion of logistics capabilities, and trade linkages. Turkmen entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to present their projects, establish connections with international partners, and discuss prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation.

A key focus of the Forum will be digitalization and the adoption of innovative technologies in the private sector. Turkmen businesses have already demonstrated progress in this area and are prepared to share their experience with the international community.

The planned events also aim to strengthen cooperation between the Turkmen private sector and international organizations, including UN agencies, financial institutions, and donor organizations. Currently, there is active collaboration on projects aimed at entrepreneurship development, export potential enhancement, and attracting foreign investment.

The Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3) is a globally significant event addressing transformations affecting more than 570 million people living in 32 countries across various continents.
