Turkmenistan sent 14.9 thousand tons of tomatoes worth 11.9 million dollars to Kyrgyzstan within 6 months. This is reported by the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan.

Kyrgyzstan's tomato imports increased by 15% in the first half of 2024. According to the department, during the corresponding period, 18.2 thousand tons of tomatoes worth 11.9 million dollars were imported. This is 15% more than the same period last year.

Kyrgyzstan mainly imports tomatoes from 5 countries. In this regard, Turkmenistan is the leader, the country accounts for 82% of Kyrgyzstan's tomato imports.

Uzbekistan is in second place (2,484 tons). China (715 tons), Iran (73.5 tons) and Kazakhstan (33 tons) are also located respectively.
