During the meeting with the international expert of the United Nations, the activities carried out within the framework of the "Framework program of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the United Nations for sustainable development for 2021-2025" were reviewed. Deputies of the Mejlis participated in the activities organized by the United Nations Children's Fund, the OSCE together with the relevant state institutions of the country. Vice Premier H. Geldimyradov reported on the implementation of the implementation of the digital system in the economic sectors and improving the quality of banking services through the use of innovative technologies.
As stated in the "Program of socio-economic development of the country of the President of Turkmenistan in 2022-2028", the goal is to increase the volume of loans provided through online applications and to implement appropriate measures to improve online lending processes. In this regard, the vice-premier informed about the opportunities and advantages of the "Digital loan" system developed by the joint-stock commercial bank "Halkbank" of Turkmenistan for its clients. This type of services includes remote customer service through the Internet, including the creation of benefits by banks in the formalization of loans for citizens using the digital system.
Commenting on the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted with satisfaction that the digital system is being widely implemented in all sectors of the economy, and constant attention is paid to improving the quality and variety of banking services. The Turkmen leader supported the proposal to introduce the "Digital loan" system intended for individuals by the "Halkbank" joint-stock commercial bank, and instructed the vice-premier to carry out relevant work in this field.
Then, Vice Premier B. Amanov reported on the work being carried out by the Turkmengaz state concern in the field of introducing a digital system in the gas supply system. As noted, in order to successfully implement the tasks set out in the "State Program for the Development of the Digital Economy in Turkmenistan for 2021-2025", necessary measures are being taken in the country, in particular, "smart" gas in households that consume natural gas in accordance with new technologies. relevant work on installation of computing equipment is being carried out.
Commenting on the report, the President noted that it is important to install modern gas meters that will allow us to provide our people, institutions and enterprises with natural and liquefied gas safely and reliably.
