Shavkat Mirziyoyev Thanks Turkmenistan’s Leadership for High State Award

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent letters of gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, expressing appreciation for receiving the high state honor—the Order of “Hyzmatdaşlygy Ösdürmäge Goşandy Üçin” (For Contribution to Developing Cooperation)—awarded during his visit to Turkmenistan, as reported by Turkmenistan’s official media on Sunday.

Mirziyoyev also praised the successful organization of the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, held in the Avaza National Tourist Zone. He emphasized the significance of this international forum and the extensive reforms underway in Turkmenistan.

In his letters, the Uzbek leader underscored the importance of further strengthening bilateral cooperation in economic, transport, cultural, and humanitarian fields. He expressed confidence in the continued development of the partnership between the two countries and their regions.

President Mirziyoyev wished good health, prosperity, and new successes to the Turkmen leadership and the Turkmen people.

The award ceremony for President Mirziyoyev took place on August 5 during the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries in Avaza.
