Ahead of the 2025–2026 academic year, school supply fairs have opened in shopping centers and residential neighborhoods across Turkmenistan. The fairs offer a wide range of products — from school uniforms and footwear to stationery and backpacks, as reported by the official Turkmen media on Thursday.
To make shopping more convenient for families, the fairs have been set up close to residential areas. This allows parents to prepare their children for the upcoming school year in advance and without rush, while comparing the quality and prices of goods.

Particular emphasis has been placed on supporting domestic manufacturers. Textile and footwear enterprises in Turkmenistan have ramped up production, offering students comfortable and safe products. For instance, children’s shoes are made from natural leather, and backpacks are designed with ergonomic back support.

In addition to uniforms and shoes, the fairs feature sportswear bearing the “Türkmenistan” logo, pencil cases, notebooks, planners, and other essential school supplies.
