Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, met with President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon at Turkmenbashi Airport, as reported by Turkmenistan’s official media on Monday.

Berdimuhamedov welcomed President Rahmon and wished him a pleasant stay and a successful visit. President Rahmon emphasized the importance of the meeting and expressed support for Turkmenistan’s hosting of the major international conference.

The two leaders discussed ways to expand political, economic, and cultural ties, and exchanged views on a range of regional and international issues.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also met with President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

President Tokayev expressed gratitude for the invitation and noted it was an honor to take part in such a significant forum. The conference is expected to have a positive impact on strengthening future cooperation between the participating countries.

During their meeting, Berdimuhamedov and Tokayev exchanged views on the prospects of enhancing bilateral relations and wished each other success in joint efforts.
