Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Reviews Construction Progress in Arkadag

The National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, conducted a working visit to the city of Arkadag on Saturday, during which he reviewed the ongoing construction progress and urban infrastructure development, according to Turkmen official media.

During the visit, special attention was given to the modernization of the city's transport system. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov inspected the new multi-level highway interchange on Gokdepe Avenue, constructed using exclusively local building materials.

The National Leader of the Turkmen People emphasized that the Gokdepe and Keimir Kör avenues would connect the railway and bus stations, the construction of which is actively underway in Arkadag.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also provided specific recommendations for comprehensive preparations ahead of the upcoming opening ceremony of the interchange. Afterward, he traveled along Keymir Kor Avenue towards Arkadag, during which he assessed the condition of adjacent areas, green zones, and landscaping.

The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan also reviewed the design plans for social and industrial facilities scheduled for the second phase of Arkadag's construction, as well as the modern highway interchange on Gokdepe Avenue and other projects.

As part of his visit, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov toured the construction site of the city mosque, which will serve as the future spiritual center of Arkadag.

Wishing further success to all involved in this responsible work, the National Leader of the Turkmen People departed the site.
