A meeting was held at the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan with Oguljahan Atabayeva, Vice President for Medical Activities of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care. During the meeting, emphasis was placed on the importance of events on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Saglyk State Program, developed on the initiative of Doctor Arkadag, as well as the 4th anniversary of the establishment of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Children in Need of Care.

Within its framework, a corresponding agreement was signed between the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care and the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of the country.

The International Year of Peace and Trust marks the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Saglyk State Program, developed on the initiative of Hero Arkadaga. During this period, the healthcare system has undergone tremendous transformations, achieved as a result of the successful implementation of the tasks outlined in the Program. Advanced practices and technologies, as well as modern methods of treatment, are widely implemented in all structures of the specialized field. This ensures that the medical services provided comply with high international standards.

During the meeting, which took place in a businesslike atmosphere, it was noted that the humane principles implemented by the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care are aimed at improving the health of the younger generation, conducting operations and rehabilitating sick children.

In different regions of the country, as well as in the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, health centers that meet modern requirements of the World Health Organization have been commissioned under the Saglyk Program.

The Agreement reached was another evidence that the humane principles laid down by wise ancestors throughout history and which are world models are developing in our Motherland in accordance with the spirit of the modern era. This significant event has given an impetus to the further development of all structures of the national healthcare system.
