Turkmenistan will launch a nationwide innovation competition titled “Digital Solution – 2025,” aimed at advancing digital development and identifying talented youth, Mammethan Chakyev, director general of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers, reported to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov during a regular online Cabinet meeting.
According to Turkmenistan’s official media, the competition will focus on key areas such as artificial intelligence, robotics and automation, smart agriculture technologies, smart cities, digital education and e-learning, e-health, and digital services.
President Berdimuhamedov, after hearing the report, emphasized that the annual contest reflects the country’s commitment to developing a digital economy. He noted that the broad participation of young people engaged in software development and innovative projects demonstrates growing progress in the sector.
The president approved the proposal to officially launch the “Digital Solution – 2025” competition and instructed the agency to carry out the necessary preparations.
Also during the Cabinet session, Deputy Prime Minister Nökerguly Atagulyyev reported on the ongoing preparations for an exhibition of Turkmenistan’s export products to be held in Türkiye.
