Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov discussed upcoming high-level visits and bilateral cooperation during a phone call on Wednesday, as reported by the Russian Foreign Ministry.

The conversation also covered preparations for meetings on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum and broader efforts to strengthen ties between the two countries.

Meredov extended warm congratulations to Lavrov on the occasion of Russia Day.
