The international trade fair “Turkmentextile Expo — 2025” opened Wednesday at the exhibition center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan.

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov warmly congratulated the opening of the event, which is being held for the first time in the country, as reported by Turkmenistan’s official media on Wednesday.

“The presence of silk fabrics, clothing, and other textile products intended not only for the domestic market but also for export in the fair’s exhibitions will attract the attention of foreign partners participating in this large-scale event and clearly demonstrate Turkmenistan’s openness to foreign investment in this sector,” Turkmen head of state said in a congratulatory message.

The fair showcases various sectors of the textile industry, including the processing of natural fibers, production of clothing and footwear, home textiles, accessories, chemical products and dyes, and decorative items. Exhibiting companies also present the latest innovative technologies.

The “Turkmentextile Expo — 2025” international trade fair will run until June 13.
