January–April: Cashless Turnover in Turkmenistan Exceeded 6.7 Billion Manats

The total volume of cashless transactions using with bank cards in Turkmenistan exceeded 6.7 billion manats from January to April 2025, according to the electronic magazine “Bank habarlary”, published by the Central Bank of Turkmenistan.

Payments made through point-of-sale terminals accounted for 5.76 billion manats during the same period.

Data from the central bank shows that payments made via the "Electronic Commerce" system totaled more than 736 million manats, while those made through the "Mobile Banking" system surpassed 12 million manats.

ATM-based cashless payments amounted to over 192million manats, with more than 1.7 million manats processed through the "Internet Banking" system.

Additionally, the "Halkbank Terminal" system handled more than 75 million manats in cashless payments.
