President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has extended his sincere congratulations to Lee Jae-myung on his victory in South Korea’s presidential election, as reported by Turkmenistan’s state news agency on Wednesday.

In his congratulatory message, the Turkmen head of state praised the fruitful relations established with the Republic of Korea and affirmed his readiness to continue joint efforts to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation.

Taking the opportunity, the President of Turkmenistan wished Lee Jae-myung good health, happiness, and new achievements in his responsible state duties, while extending wishes of peace, prosperity, and continued progress to the people of Korea.

According to the results of the snap presidential election in the Republic of Korea, Lee Jae-myung secured 49.42 percent of the vote, ahead of Conservative Party candidate Kim Moon-soo, who received 41.15 percent.
