President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met Monday with Dashzegviin Amarbayasgalan, Speaker of Mongolia’s State Great Khural, as part of his official state visit, according to Turkmenistan’s state media.

Amarbayasgalan warmly welcomed the high-level guest and said it was an honor to meet the president of Turkmenistan, who pursues a peace-loving and constructive foreign policy aimed at strengthening regional and international cooperation. He highlighted the significance of the high-level talks held in Ulaanbaatar, which marked a new stage in bilateral relations.

President Berdimuhamedov expressed gratitude to the speaker for the warm reception and noted that the meeting would help deepen mutual understanding between the two countries, including at the parliamentary level, and foster the development of new areas of cooperation.

On the same day, President Berdimuhamedov also held talks with Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh as part of his state visit.
