President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov will pay a working visit to Mongolia on June 1–2, 2025, according to a report by Deputy Chairman Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov during an online government meeting on Thursday.
According to a report by Turkmenistan’s official media on Thursday, the visit will include the signing of bilateral documents aimed at strengthening the legal foundation of Turkmen-Mongolian cooperation. In addition, Ulaanbaatar will host a Turkmen-Mongolian business forum, an exhibition of Turkmen carpets, displays of traditional decorative and applied arts, and a cultural program featuring artists from both countries.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of enhancing constructive relations with foreign nations and instructed officials to ensure a high level of organization for all events scheduled during the visit.
Currently, 11 bilateral agreements are in force between the two countries. Turkmenistan and Mongolia established diplomatic relations in 1992.
