Today, May 29, a significant event began its work in the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana - the Central Asia-China Media Cooperation Forum - 2025. The event, held under the topical theme of ‘Deepening Media Cooperation for Joint Development’, is designed to strengthen the interaction between the media communities of the two regions, the electronic newspaper ‘Neutral Turkmenistan’ reports.

The participants of the Forum received a welcoming address from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, which emphasizes the high status and importance of this event. Representatives of the leadership of the leading mass media of the countries of Central Asia and China are taking part in the work of the forum, which creates a unique platform for exchanging experiences and developing joint strategies. The organizer of this large-scale event was the authoritative Chinese newspaper ‘Renmin Ribao’.

The Turkmen delegation at the Forum is represented by authoritative representatives of the national media: the heads and correspondents of the online newspaper ‘Golden Age’, the newspaper ‘Neutral Turkmenistan’ and the newspaper ‘Turkmenistan’. Their participation demonstrates Turkmenistan's desire for active dialogue and development of partnerships in the media sphere.

The Forum agenda is rich and includes a number of thematic sessions and discussions. Among the key issues put up for discussion are ‘The Mission of the Media - a Bridge for Intercivilizational Dialogue’, which emphasizes the role of the media in forming mutual understanding between cultures, as well as ‘Promoting Mutually Beneficial Development within the Silk Road Economic Belt’, which focuses on the contribution of the media to economic integration and development.

In addition to the business program, a press tour of the cities of Kazakhstan is planned for the Forum participants, which will last from May 29 to 31. This will provide an opportunity for media representatives to become familiar with the cultural and economic potential of the region, as well as establish personal contacts and strengthen professional ties.
