Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, held a phone call on Monday with Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates and Minister of the Presidential Court, to discuss prospects for new joint projects, according to state news agency of Turkmenistan.

The talks focused on strengthening trade and economic cooperation, including the positive dynamics in bilateral trade and collaboration with Emirati companies.

Particular attention was given to agreements in the energy sector involving the UAE’s ADNOC and Malaysia’s PETRONAS, which both sides said would contribute significantly to mutually beneficial ties.

The two leaders exchanged well wishes for continued success in their official duties and expressed hopes for peace and prosperity for the peoples of Turkmenistan and the UAE.
