The 24th Universal International Exhibition and Conference Ak Şäherim Aşgabat will be held in Ashgabat on May 24–25, in celebration of City Day. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Baymyrat Annamammedov, reported on the preparations during a government meeting on Saturday.

The event is expected to bring together representatives of Turkmen and international companies, government ministries, agencies, entrepreneurs, and business leaders. The exhibition will showcase the modern architectural landscape of the capital, economic achievements, and technological innovations, according to Turkmenistan’s official media. 

The conference will include bilateral meetings between Turkmen sectoral organizations and foreign companies, aimed at fostering business relations, exchanging experience, and strengthening international cooperation.

In honor of the occasion, a ceremony will be held to present commemorative gifts from the President of Turkmenistan to distinguished workers in the construction sector. Cultural performances featuring local creative groups are also planned.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of ensuring a high level of organization for the exhibition and related festivities, issuing specific instructions to the Deputy Prime Minister for coordination.

A number of domestic policy issues were also reviewed during the meeting of Turkmenistan’s Cabinet of Ministers.
