As is known, on March 29, 2025, the International Conference “Year of Peace and Trust: Development of International Activities for the Sake of Children” was held in the city of Arkadag, timed to coincide with the 4th anniversary of the establishment of the Charity Fund for Providing Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, which became an important event and received great resonance in the international community. The issues discussed during the Conference were reflected in its Outcome Document, which was translated into the official languages of the United Nations and distributed as an agenda document of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.

This clearly demonstrates the importance of the International Conference in Arkadag city, as well as the recognition by the world community of the noble activities carried out in Turkmenistan to ensure a happy and prosperous life for children, who are our future.

This fact confirms the importance of the issues considered at the forum. The agenda of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly includes items devoted to such topics as: culture of peace; social development; peacebuilding and peacekeeping; promotion and protection of children’s rights.
