The President of Turkmenistan is on a working visit to the Balkan velayat

On May 1, 2025, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived on Thursday for a working visit to the Balkan velayat. According to the "Neutral Turkmenistan" newspaper, the head of state departed from Ashgabat International Airport, where he was seen off by officials.

After some time, the plane of the President of Turkmenistan landed at the Turkmenbashi International Airport.

During the trip, Serdar Berdimuhamedov familiarized himself with the progress of preparations for the UN international conference on landlocked developing countries, scheduled to be held in the Avaza National Tourist Zone, and also held an expanded offsite meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers."
