National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited the Social and entrepreneurial Corporation Turkestan Industrial Park on Tuesday to review the region’s industrial achievements and development plans, according to the Kazakh presidential press service.

The park is implementing six investment projects with a total value of 36.5 billion tenge. Production has been established for irrigation systems, agricultural machinery, school, medical, and office furniture, interior doors, and industrial refrigerators.

The next phase of development includes construction of 112 facilities across 70 hectares and the launch of 13 new projects worth 39.7 billion tenge.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also toured an exhibition of Kazakhstani manufacturers showcasing products from the aerospace, engineering, metallurgy, construction, light industry, food, and chemical sectors.

The exhibition featured automobiles, agricultural and household equipment, medical devices, industrial batteries, furniture, textiles, and clothing.
