The capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, Kazan, will host the "Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum 2025" and "Russia Halal Expo 2025" on May 15–16, 2025. The international events aim to serve as key platforms for advancing the Islamic economy, the halal industry, and financial services, while also promoting cooperation in digital technologies and expanding investment opportunities, as reported by press-service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.

Turkmenistan has confirmed its participation in the forum, signaling its intent to deepen business cooperation, grow its halal industry, and expand export potential.

According to report, upcoming forum will offer broad prospects for sustainable economic development in Turkmenistan. The country's participation is expected to enhance foreign investment, create new trade links, and further integrate its markets into the global Islamic economic space.

KazanForum 2025 is positioned as a strategic dialogue platform between Russia and member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), focusing on strengthening economic, cultural and technological ties.
