Ashgabat begins testing air-conditioned Yutong passenger bus

A 12-meter bus made in China, Yutong, equipped with air conditioning and advanced technologies, is running along the streets of the Turkmen capital. The vehicle is undergoing initial testing, after which it will be available for servicing city residents, the Vatan news program reported.

The new bus complies with Euro 5 environmental standards and is equipped with three doors. Fare is paid through a digital system, and built-in devices keep track of the number of passengers. To ensure safety and control over traffic, an intelligent system with a GPS module and 10 video cameras has been installed, allowing you to track the route and the driver's work.

Passenger comfort is provided by air conditioning, audio and video systems, Wi-Fi, and mobile phone chargers. There are also special devices for people with disabilities and a notification system for arrival at stops.

Let us recall that on January 10 of this year, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree allowing the Turkmenavtoulaglari agency to conclude a contract with the Chinese company Yutong Bus Co., Ltd. for the purchase of 700 Yutong ZK6128HG buses.
