On 3 April 2025 at the initiative of Turkmenistan meeting of Central Asian Ambassadors and the Secretary General of the OSCE took place in Vienna.

Interlocutors discussed broad agenda of the OSCE in all three dimensions and role of Central Asia in promoting Helsinki decalogue. Regional security, climate change, transport and trade connectivity, human rights, rule of law, democratic institutions were on the agenda of the meeting.

Initiative of Turkmenistan to proclaim 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust was outlined in detail. The Initiative has been supported by the community of the United Nations which adopted relevant UNGA Resolution in 2024. It was also noted that in 2025, events will be held aimed at strengthening trust between peoples through diplomacy, dialogue, cultural exchange, trade and economic cooperation.
