President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyyev and velayat hyakims, discussing the progress of agricultural work and the implementation of socio-economic programs.

The velayat hyakims reported on seasonal agricultural activities, including wheat care, preparation of areas for sowing cotton, as well as work on growing potatoes and vegetable crops. The issue of preparing high-quality seeds and carrying out the necessary agrotechnical measures was discussed.

In addition, the construction of socio-cultural and industrial facilities planned for opening within the framework of the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country for 2022-2028 was discussed.

The President of Turkmenistan emphasized the importance of complying with agrotechnical standards, timely completion of agricultural work and the efficient use of natural resources. The head of state instructed to monitor preparations for the sowing campaign, the provision of agricultural producers with seeds and the implementation of all events within the established timeframes.

At the end of the working meeting, the head of state wished its participants good health, family well-being and great success in their work.
