Representatives of the Turkmenistan airlines held a series of negotiations with representatives of Japanese agencies, focusing on organizing cargo air transportation between Ashgabat and Tokyo.

The meetings took place during the visit of the Turkmen delegation to Tokyo from January 13 to 16, 2025, as reported by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan on Friday.

Earlier, representatives of the aviation authorities of Turkmenistan and Japan discussed establishing direct air service between the two countries.

Following the negotiations, the parties signed the corresponding package of documents.
