The third meeting of the heads of border crossings Artyk (Turkmenistan) and Lotfabad (Iran) aimed at expanding transport cooperation between the two countries was held at the Artyk checkpoint on the Turkmen-Iranian border, the page of the Agency of Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan reports.

In the framework of the concluding exchanges, representatives of the two countries met and discussed the community of practice in order to optimize and expand their mutually beneficial activities. Particular attention was paid to the issues of streamlining the work of load-shedding and strengthening the high level of cooperation in this area

During the meeting, the parties discussed specific mechanisms to simplify border crossing procedures for cargo and passenger transport.
