A delegation of teachers from the Makhtumkuli Turkmen State University and the Turkmen State Institute of Culture took part in the Second Meeting of the International Discussion Club "Dialogue", which was held in Vladimir (RF).
As reported in the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper, the Club was created in 2022 on the initiative of the Vladimir branch of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.
The Club meeting was held in an old building - the House of Friendship. Delegations from 11 countries took part in the forum in person and online.
Among the main topics that were submitted for consideration:
preservation and effective use of cultural heritage as the most important factor in the development of the state and strengthening its sovereignty;
preservation of historical and cultural monuments, folk traditions, national art is an important motivation for the transfer of national traditional values to future generations, the development and support of its own development path for each society;
cultural heritage as a basis for preserving the identity and uniqueness of society, an incentive for the organic combination of national cultural and historical values with the development of modern civilization.
Active discussions were also held on the topic related to effective work in the field of preserving cultural heritage within individual countries and cooperation between different states.
The trip also included a visit to the city of Suzdal, which is widely celebrating its 1000th anniversary this year. The Turkmen delegation arrived the day before the opening of the event, so a tour of Vladimir was organized especially for the Turkmen representatives, including a visit to the Vladimir branch of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, the historical museum, and the Assumption Cathedral.
