The next issue of the quarterly scientific and applied journal “Democracy and Law”, prepared for publication by the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan, has been published, TDH reports.
The publication, published in Turkmen, English and Russian, opens with a congratulatory Address from President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the people of the country on the occasion of the Constitution and State Flag Day of Turkmenistan. The Address emphasizes that the sacred symbols of statehood - the Basic Law and the green Banner - form the unshakable basis of a perfect legal system for the implementation of the grandiose goals of the new era.
The article “Cooperation between the European Union and Turkmenistan” is presented to the attention of readers. The author of the publication, EU Ambassador Beata Peksa, notes the mutual strategic interest of Turkmenistan and the European Union in stimulating and further developing constructive relations.
The article “Creativity of Magtymguly Fragi and the principles of international cooperation” was also published on the pages of the magazine. As the author notes, through his works, the great poet and thinker of the East conveyed to his contemporaries knowledge about the world order, states and peoples of the world, their characteristics, culture, literature, and big cities.
The article “Views of Magtymguly Fragi on statehood” is also devoted to the topic of the creative heritage of the outstanding son of the Turkmen people. As emphasized in the publication, the brilliant poet and thinker, based on a deep understanding of the past and comprehension of the future, through artistic words, was able to express in his poems the fundamental foundations of the rule of law state and civil society, which in the modern era have found visible embodiment in the Constitution of Turkmenistan.
In the article “The Caspian Sea – a sea of peace and friendship,” special emphasis is placed on the fact that the development and rational use of the natural resources of the Caspian Sea, the preservation of its unique biodiversity, as well as international cooperation in the Caspian region is one of the strategic directions of the state policy of Turkmenistan.
The magazine also published the article “Neutrality and the development of legislation in the field of international cooperation.” It provides a scientific and practical analysis of the legal status of the permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan, which has deep roots in the history, culture and worldview of the people, its primordial commitment to the principles of peace, creativity and universal humanistic values.
Readers are also invited to the article “Improving property legislation in Turkmenistan.” The publication notes the importance of the systematic work being carried out in the country to modernize the relevant legislative and legal framework, bringing it into compliance with generally recognized norms of international law.
The article “Practice of organizing the civil service” is devoted to the topic of improving the training and advanced training of civil servants.
The publication ends with the traditional “Chronicle” section, in which the reader is offered an overview of meetings, sessions, seminars and other events held in Ashgabat with the participation of representatives of authoritative international organizations.
