During the visit, they were introduced to the possibilities of this grain terminal and there were discussions about exporting the wheat produced by it to third countries through the territory of Turkmenistan. After getting acquainted with the grain terminal, the Afghan delegation held talks with the managers of the Kazakhstan Food Corporation and Beyneu grain terminal. During the talks, the parties discussed the possibility of supplying grain to Afghanistan through the terminal.
According to the source, it is planned to send Kazakh wheat to Afghanistan and Pakistan from the Beyneu grain terminal with the construction of additional warehouses in the border regions and the provision of logistics through the territory of Turkmenistan. Galla terminal has very favorable conditions for sending cargo to the Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan border. The capacity of the terminal allows to store 100 thousand tons of grain at the same time. The grain terminal receives up to 500 carloads of grain per day and ships 2 million tonnes of grain per year in bulk and on grain carriers.
