As part of the Turkmen-Japanese business forum in Tokyo, a presentation of the national pavilion of Turkmenistan, which will be built at the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, took place, reports the press service of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan.
Deputy Secretary General of the Japan Association of Organizers of EXPO 2025 Ichinoki Manatsu said that the construction of the Turkmen pavilion is being carried out according to plan in accordance with the requirements of the exhibition.
The director of company “Belli”, the official contractor of the pavilion, gave a presentation that demonstrated what the facility would look like. It was noted that high-quality environmentally friendly materials were used in its construction.
The pavilion will display the cultural values of Turkmenistan, handmade carpets, industrial products, the country's achievements over the years of independence, national dishes and souvenirs.
On the sidelines of the Turkmen-Japanese business forum, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan and the Japan Foreign Trade Development Organization, and bilateral meetings of delegations were also held.
