Days of Culture of Turkmenistan were held in Kazakhstan

Days of Culture of Turkmenistan were held in Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan. Various events organized within its borders introduced the citizens of the country to the current achievements of the fascinating Turkmen culture and art. This was reported in the "Turkmenistan" newspaper.

The opening ceremony of the Days of Culture held at the Kalibek Kuanyshbaev Musical Drama Theater in Astana was attended by leaders of the friendly country's bodies, representatives of the cultural-literary, scientific community, mass media, foreign delegations in the Kazakh capital, and residents of the city.

They watched the exhibition of works of fine and applied art of Turkmenistan, museum values, jewelry organized on the balcony of the theater. Those who spoke at the event expressed their deep gratitude to the honorable Presidents of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan for organizing the Culture Days at a high level.

As noted in the report, this cultural forum was distinguished by its wealth of impressive events, such as the exhibition of Turkmen fine and applied arts and museum treasures, creative meetings, stage and film screenings.

The feature film "Isterin", dedicated to the life of Magtymguly Pyragy, shown in the cinema of the "Carven" shopping and recreation center in Astana, made an unforgettable impression on art fans.

The meeting of creative workers organized in the Academic Library of Kazakhstan was combined with the presentation of the book of the President of Turkmenistan called "Genesis - a culture originating from millennia".

Within the framework of the Days of Culture, the participants watched the feature film "Red Apple" of the "Turkmenfilm" association named after Oguz Khan in the cinema of the "Carven" shopping and recreation center in Astana. On the occasion of the solemn closing of the Days of Culture, songs praising the friendship and brotherhood of the Turkmen and Kazakh peoples were sung loudly at the joint friendship concert organized in the Kalibek Kuanyshbaev Musical Drama Theater of this city.
