Today, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd. met with Tatsuya Watanabe, the company's senior strategic advisor, and Kenji Sanada, the company's executive director. As noted at the meeting, Japan is a long-term strategic partner of Turkmenistan in the Asia-Pacific region.
Speaking about the bilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and Japan, the National Leader of the Turkmen people noted that trade and economic cooperation is one of the priority areas and stressed that Turkmen-Japanese business relations have reached a qualitatively new level and are being successfully developed in various fields.
As noted in the interview, Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd. For many years, fruitful cooperation with the company has been established, several large projects have been implemented. Examples include the Ovadandepe natural gas gasoline plant, Mary Velayat carbamide plant, and Kelete cement plant.
Also, it was said that new opportunities are emerging for the development of bilateral cooperation in view of Turkmenistan's plans for extraction and processing of natural gas while operating the facilities at full capacity.
"We are ready to look at your specific proposals in this area to further develop bilateral cooperation," said Khriman Arkadag, and Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd. expressed confidence that the fruitful cooperation with the company will be further developed.
Emphasizing that the company they represent is cooperating with Turkmenistan on a long-term and mutually advantageous basis, the businessmen noted that Japanese business groups are very interested in the promising Turkmen market and are ready to offer their experience and the latest technological developments to Turkmen partners.
At the end of the meeting, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, the Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov thanked the participants for their personal contribution to the development of Turkmen-Japanese cooperation.
