Eni Gas Production in Turkmenistan Reaches 22 Bcf in 2025

Natural gas production by Italy’s Eni in Turkmenistan reached 22 billion cubic feet (approximately 623 million cubic meters) in 2025, up from 3 billion cubic feet (around 85 million cubic meters) a year earlier, according to the company’s 2025 annual report.

On an annual basis, oil production totaled 2 million barrels, while total hydrocarbon output increased from 3 million to 5 million barrels of oil equivalent.

According to the Daily Oil and Natural Gas Production table, average daily gas output rose nearly tenfold to 61.5 million cubic feet per day (approximately 1.74 million cubic meters), compared with 6.6 million cubic feet per day (around 0.19 million cubic meters) in the previous year.

Liquids production averaged 2,000 barrels per day in 2025. Total hydrocarbon output reached 14,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day, up from 7,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day a year earlier.

As part of its operations in the country, Eni focused on drilling nine infill and step-out wells. An additional five wells were converted to water injection to maintain reservoir pressure and enhance hydrocarbon recovery.
