Vessels of Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO) are transporting pipes for the construction of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline.
ASCO said Monday that shipments are being carried out from the Baku International Sea Trade Port to Turkmenbashi port.
The operation involves ASCO’s general cargo vessels Natavan, Rasul Rza, Garadag, Teimur Ahmadov and Maestro Niyazi.
The vessels are expected to deliver 11,700 pipes by the end of the year.
