As part of an official visit to Turkmenistan, a delegation from the "Azerbaijan Railways" CJSC visited the Turkmenbashi International Seaport to review its infrastructure, technical capabilities, and transit capacity. During the meeting, the parties discussed plans to coordinate the development of the Turkmenbashi and Baku international seaports, with a particular focus on seabed deepening operations.

The participants emphasized that expanding connectivity between the Caspian and Black Seas would enhance the efficiency of the Middle Corridor. It was noted that synchronized cooperation between ports along the Eurasian transport corridor is a fundamental requirement for ensuring efficient, fast, and secure freight forwarding.
