Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Amanov met Monday in Ashgabat with Executive Director of the Global Gas Centre Valery Ducrot to discuss expanding Turkmen gas export routes.
According to Turkmenistan’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations in Geneva, the talks also addressed the growing importance of securing gas supplies to global markets, developing regional energy cooperation to enhance security, support diversification, and build long-term partnerships.
The Turkmen side confirmed its readiness to actively cooperate with international energy organizations, emphasizing the country’s role as a reliable partner at both regional and global levels.
The Global Gas Centre (GGC), based in Geneva, is a non-profit organization for executives and experts from gas companies. Its mission is to promote sustainable energy, with a particular focus on issues related to natural gas.
